Introduction to Hefei

AHTCM is located in Hefei, the capitalcity of Anhui province, which has a 2,000-year-old history. It has a population of 4.22 million people. The climate here belongs to subtropical humid zone. It has four clear seasons. It has a sound weather, normally a warm winter and cool summer. Hefei is a beautiful city, to its southeast lies the Chaohu Lake with avast expanse of blue water; to its north is the Huaihe River and to its south flows the Yangtze River. In the urban area, parks are around the city with flowing waters. Hefei is an orderly and peaceful city where most people seesense in developing their minds, also where people’s educational level is amongthe nation’s highest. Hefei, a science and educational city, is a key scientific research center and educational base in China. It has aknowledge-admiring atmosphere. There are many cultural and educational resources in the city, for example, libraries, museums and various bookstores.The city has a high education zone. There are more than 30 famous institutes of higher learning and research. AHTCM is one of them whose campus looks like abright diamond that lights the whole city.
